Beyond The BEO initially started as a podcast to bring the events community together. The goal was always to be a resource for events professionals to get that insider wisdom from the people who inspire them most.
I've been fortunate enough to build a vibrant career as an events professional with experience across multiple industries including technology, financial services, health care, and HR. A normal day in my corporate roles can mean spending hours at my desk reviewing contracts, or working the phones trying to find fire-eaters, spray paint artists, or aerialists for an upcoming event in an obscure city you've probably never heard of.
Along the way I've been fortunate enough to win awards, and have worked to build a community of like-minded event professionals through the Beyond the BEO podcast. Just like any business, event professionals are all stronger when we're working together.

How It All Came Together, One Event At A Time
It sounds cliché to say that it all started on prom night, but in this case it's true. Planning our high school prom was my first foray into the events world, and the one that made me say "I want to do this when I grow up."
Fast forward two decades later and I'm grateful to have made this into my career. After 15 years of serving in planning and management roles in-house, I started Beyond the BEO in 2025 to help ensure that any business in any industry had access to incredible events.
I've won awards, spoken onstage, and been recognized when I walk into the room...but it's not about any of that. For me, it will always be about the clients, and making sure that they craft memorable experiences that keep their attendees coming back for more.
When I'm not at my desk, you can usually find my husband and I trying to play pub trivia across all provinces and states within the next few years. Oh, and if you see someone at Disney who looks like me...make sure you stop and say hello.
